Expiration before used
I found that the cartridge has an expiration date. Because of the expiration date the printer will not work. Brand new cartridge will not work. So if you purchase back up cartridges, they may not work when you go to use them.
HP does not advertise this or notify you about this until it is too late.
It is cheaper to buy a new copier with cartridges than to replace all 6 ...

Outstanding color
We make picture pillowcases for our troops to take with them and for the family to have something to hug at night too. We have done this project for 5 years and have done over 15,000 cases. Better buy than the standard
This is obviously a better buy than the original size cartridge which begs the question, Why aren't all the cartridges this size?... one of the mysteries of the universe.

HP color cartridges
don't use my Photosmart printer for photo printing often as I'd originally hoped because the cartridges get used up too fast with photos; and thus the cartridge replacement of blue, magenta and yellow are too frequent and expensive.

It's good but no different than generic

Simply a great ink cartridge . . .
Although I would say these cartiridges are expensive, through the Staples recycling program and getting the 'REWARDS' it cuts the costs considerably. Making it much more affordable.
I have tried other 'after-market' cartridges and they do not perform as well as the HP does.
