Expiration before used
I found that the cartridge has an expiration date. Because of the expiration date the printer will not work. Brand new cartridge will not work. So if you purchase back up cartridges, they may not work when you go to use them.
HP does not advertise this or notify you about this until it is too late.
It is cheaper to buy a new copier with cartridges than to replace all 6 ...

Cyan runs out quickly
Cyan seems to run out faster than any other color for me. Maybe because of photographs? Usually, I can buy the 5 pk, but often I need to buy extra Cyan.

Take off expiration dates!
I do not use a lot of ink so the cartridges are expiring before they are used. When I need to buy a new printer, I will look for another brand that does not have expiration dates on their ink.
