Expiration before used
I found that the cartridge has an expiration date. Because of the expiration date the printer will not work. Brand new cartridge will not work. So if you purchase back up cartridges, they may not work when you go to use them.
HP does not advertise this or notify you about this until it is too late.
It is cheaper to buy a new copier with cartridges than to replace all 6 ...

excellent product
I print a lot since I work from home - I use the HP 02XL and it prints clean and clear with no smudging - the cartridge lasts quite a while as well - what I like best is the fact you can buy it singly or in the multi pack at a very modest price. I highly recommend this to any one who does a lot of printing.

Love these ink cartridges
When I bought my printer I made sure it had the individual ink cartridges so I didn't have to buy an all inclusive refill cartridge when there was still ink left in the cartridge.
