Definitely not as nice as they used to be
Compared to my old one from Fellowes this one is thin (about 2/3rds as thick). Build quality is about the same I can see where the fabric will start peeling if I keep using it. Hopefully the manufacture warranty will kick in when it fails (I saved the receipt just in case). I wouldn’t buy another one I don’t think. Staples offers an “in-house” branded one in store fo...

Gel Wrist rest
This item was perfect for my needs- a good size and the right amount of “give”. I tried other wrist test and they were not squishy enough and hurt my wrists. I’m very happy with this one.

Time & Money Wasted...
This item is not durable. Used for less than a month to try and solve ulnar nerve issue and gel flattens out. Fabric has come apart from the base and the gel is now oozing out. Flipped around to see if maybe one side was defective and the same thing happened in 2 days.

Fellows gel wrist rest in graphite
I really like this gel wrist. It is soft yet firm enough to protect your wrist. I also like the material it is covered with. Highly recommend.

Always helpful
I like the gel pad because it provides more comfort than the standard wrist rest.

They're considerably thinner then before. I suppose it'll work but they were definitely a better product the last time I ordered.

Fellowes Gel Wrist Rest
Issues with splitting and gel spilling out - not very durable. We have had this issue with at least 4 of these that have been in use for less than a year.

Consistently fails within a month
Multiple units ordered within the past few months. All have failed within the span of a month. The seam between the fabric cover and the base splits open, allowing the gel filling to spill out. Customer support will ship a replacement, which will then do the same thing.

while the wrist rest is comfortable it could be about an inch longer and it has a very strong chemical smell that is taking a while to get rid of.

NOT GOOD QUALITY
I have had this for 4 weeks. It has completely fallen apart and all the gel is leaking out and sticking to things. Not made of good quality. Not happy at all.

Stinks
I have tried several Fellowes Gel Wrist Rests; and they stink like mildew. Why is the smell so bad? Is it a chemical you use? The smell is unbearable; so I am unable to use it.

Response from Staples :
In some instances people can show sensitivities to certain smells. While the odor you smell is not toxic, it appears you may have a sensitivity to the unique smell of our gel pads. The good news is that the odor will dissipate in a few days. If you do not experience this to be the case, please let us know so that we are able to better remedy this situation. Thank you!

Fellowes Gel Wrist Rest- FAIL
Purchased one Fellowes gel wrist rest from Staples itme # 818542 on May 7 2015. The product burst open and leaked gel on my boss's desk by June 20. Didn't even last 6 weeks. I would give it zero stars if I could.
