I liked this product so much I purchased 2
I chose this chill mat for my son because I was looking for something to accomodate his 17" Inspiron laptop. Based on the reviews, product description and reasonable price... I purchased this model. He loves it.
Then I was jealous and wanted a chill mat for my 14" Inspiron and decided to use his for a few days to see if it would accomodate the smaller laptop.

does nothing
The fans move air so slowly that my 13 inch XPS laptop gets no cooling effect that I can notice. I had high hopes for this product after seeing positive reviews; now I wish I could give it a half star, it is that bad.

Just what I needed
I this chill mat for my main laptop and for my "older" laptop that gets used in my family room. Perfect replacements for the 2 older chill mats that were either making sporadic motor noises or just not working consistently anymore.

I like it!
This Targus two fan unit keeps the laptop nice and cool and has a nice, solid structural feel to it. It is quiet, upholstered in cloth and has a clip for the cord when you are not using it. I’d buy it again.

Cooling pad for laptop
Works great ..at least to me it does.
Streaming FREE movies online it made my computer go from barely warm to hot! (I don't do Gaming)

Good product
This is a good product, there is a noticible sound when plugged-in but not any louder than when the computer fan is running extra hard. The USB cable is nicely able to store in side the raised mat. The downside is if you are using it on a desk the bottom is able to slide around since there is no gripper on the bottom.

Just the thing I was looking for
I needed a new laptop cooler as my 'old faithful' Targus Cool Pad finally gave out (the grill over one of the fans started to break and collapse into the fan blade).
