No Power, No Problem
The power supply was exactly what I needed to keep systems online when the power goes out. Works great, and with a 3 yr warranty, it was a better option than other units on the market.

The alarm for when the battery is failing, even for battery disconnected, does not always work. Saved my computer in a fire
We had this backup in our office when it got seriously smoke damaged due to a fire. After the firefighters had cleared the smoke, my APC backup was still keeping my computer going ad we were able to save all our information on our computer. Definitely a 5 star for this much needed component of any office.

APC UPS works
This UPS works fine once we were able to get the battery connected which is not easy. Has more battery-backed outlets than the clerk told us.

Traded in old UPS for new model.
I have been using two APC UPSs for years. I saw that APC had a trade in program for my discontinued model and decided to take advantage of it and get new features and improvements. Needless to say, as a longtime customer, I’m very pleased with my new Back-UPS 700 Pro.

My APC Back-UPS Pro 700 works right out of the box, which is never surprising with your gear. I appreciate providing a way for me to safely dispose of my old UPS and battery safely, and its a gerat way to keep all my equipment protected by APC.

took a lickin' but works fine.
It arrived with a broken battery door cover. I suspect some rough handling during shipment. The packaging possibly contributed as it is not very protective. The actual damage is purely cosmetic and the unit works fine. I have previously bought several replacement batteries and also upgraded through trade-in. I will continue to purchase APC UPS items from this company.

Does not support high-speed internet trough coax
The unit degradates high-speed internet signal when connected trough coax or ethernet sockets. The coax does not support anything more than 35Mbps and ethernet could limits the speed to 100Mbps. Reliable as expected. One small factory mistake
Reliable as expected. The only observation is the battery cables were 1/2” too short and connecting them to the battery was very difficult. I think the factory made a mistake because the other APCs I bought did not have this issue.

Ample protection!
Has a load of features (management, hot swappable batteries, etc) and provides the protection my customers require. Like that you can select what does and doesn't get power if loss of power occurs.
