My computer is from space.
Says it's universal but wasn't compatible with my computer. So either the universal statement isn't true or my computer is literally out of this world.

Great Idea - But
This is a great way to keep your laptop safe when in a public place. I gave it 4 stars for two reasons. It is hard to unlock due to how close the numbers are to the laptop. Secondly it is sometimes hard to get the lock inside the computer. On the plus side the cord is long enough to go around a desk if the legs of the table or desk are not sturdy enough or are short.

Solid cable when I am on the road.
I looked up staples catalog of locks and decided to go with this particular cable because of its strength and flexibility. While there are many locks available online there was only one available in the their super store. That's were I picked mine. Thank goodness it fit and was suitable. The sales person was helpful and we made sure it worked with my MacPro. Targus us...

Another good product!
It has great instructions (in english not in chinese) on how to set up your own 4-digit number. The rest was easy since it has GOOD INSTRUCTIONS!

Good laptop lock for college
Have now bought 2 of these for daughters to use at college. Works great with built-in laptop lock slot on Apple MacBook Pro. Only concern is combination lock seems a little cheap. Thankfully does not appear that anyone has even tried to figure out how to break the combination. Remember to wind this around an object that cannot easily be moved ie solid bed frame.
