HP 61XL High Yield Tri-color Cartridge is great.
My HP wireless printer has served me very well and the HP 61XL High Yield Tri-color Original Ink Cartridge has never given me any problem.

Cartridge did not fit in printer
I have been ordering cartridge #61 for some time and successfully using them in my printer. This time, the printer flashed "Tri-Color Cartridge Problem" and the whole printer has now gone down. Plus no service on the weekend to explore this problem with me.

Missing feature inclusion of HP61 Black XL
Right now if I want HP61 XL cartridge need to order the tri-color XL and the black XL separately. Sure wish the black XL be included with the tri-color XL cartridge. Would be a great addition to HP61 cartridge selection. I know if both were included in one package I definitely would order them. Also, you would be able to offer a "new product", one package with both HP61...

There when I need it.
What can you say about ink? You need it in order to do your printing. It is pretty expensive when I do a lot of color printing for childrens' teaching materials. I love being able to make them in color but I go through the ink so fast I often wonder if it would be cheaper to buy the book than copy the pages. Until I decide that, I will be spending money on color ink.

Love to print out knitting patterns to use when traveling, since I can't carry my desktop with me.I print a copy of the instuctions and charts for each pattern I am taking with me.I slip each pattern into a page protector and keep them in a notebook. The cahrts are always clear and precise with no smearing of the lines or symbols .

Great item but expensive
I tried purchasing inks on line not from HP and not only was the life shorter but the colors were not what they were supposed to be. The shading was darker, the tints were off color and the ink left a residue on the roller. When I switched back to the HP ink, the photo was clear,the colors were exact and the rollers clean. 61XL and even though the cost is more the length of duration of the cartridge is much longer. I felt that the cost was worth the value to get more use of the product.

XL cartridges last longer
I only buy XL cartridges because of the value and they don't have to be replaced all the time. I like to print out incoming mail then read them. It would not be feasible with regular cartridges. They only have half the ink or it sure seems that way to me.

HP 61XL Tricolor Ink Cartridge is the color cartridge I use for my HP printer. I do a lot of photos, graphics and other color printings, I am a frequent user. The High Yield cartridge gives me more prints and does seem to last a little longer than the standard cartridge. It is very easy to replace and offer sharp tones and colors. For the price I feel like the ink cartridge runs out too fast in comparison with other brands of printers and ink I have used in the past.
