Faulty
When I install the ink cartridge I received in the mail into my printer I keep getting the message “Cartridge is damaged or has failed.” I’ll return it in person to a store.

Cannot figure out why - but it wasn't good
Just two days ago, I opened up and inserted the new HP colored ink cartridge I'd bought within the past month into my still-functioning HP deskjet 1000. I wanted to include with my holiday cards a one-page poem with a small picture of the poet - size 2 1/8 x 1 7/8 inches - on it.

Hi there,
I am disappointed to learn a leak interrupted your printing. I completely get your frustration. There are a few remediation steps to move forward. It is either a leak or extra ink residue on the ink rollers.
The first remedy is taking the cartridge out to check for leaks. If you do not see a leak, it could be from a smudge or residue on the printer rollers. Clean the cartridge printhead and the rollers.
Going forward, here are some tips on installing cartridges:
Gently grasp the handles on either side of the printer. Make sure the cartridge locks in place. Let the cartridge carriage move to the middle and adjust before use. Be careful to only touch the black plastic on the ink cartridge. Remove the plastic tape from the ink cartridge.

HP PRINTER INK...most useful is black...t
Printing photgraphs uses too much ink..the color ink cartridge that is also a 61 is not necessary..i think using two blk cartriges is better just for printing.I had grey on my last printer that would do this as the color is never finished.

Always Dependable
HP ink is always sure to be a good reliable product and I was so pleased that Staples delivered it so I wouldn't have to brave the winter frozen fog!

No tricolor cartridge
Since I bought HP products, I am very happy. Unfortunaly, prices of print cartridges are very expensive, specially colour one.

Excellent Product I have used HP all the time

Faulty Ink Cartridges Shorted out my printer head
These printer heads shorted out my printer head. My printer no longer turns on. It's going to cost me more to fix the printer than to buy a new one.

HPXL Black ink cartridge.
There seems to be a universal shortage of the regular HP black cartridge so my only option was the XL. More pricy but impossible to find the regular black cartridge anywhere for months. Please try and have more in stock if possible.

I am always able to find everything at a Staples store. Pleasant and very helpful staff! That is important to those of us who might be having difficulty finding what we need. Love having one so local to where I live.

More Ink for the Money But Far Too Expensive
I usually purchase the smaller cartridge because I don't do a lot of printing and the HP61XL is far too expensive. I only purchased the HP61XL because I had been to several Staples locations and none of the stores had the smaller size in stock.
