Never ordered item
I have no idea why I keep receiving emails from Staples about this item. I never ordered it, paid for it, or received it. Staples really needs to get its act together.

Didn't work with corrective tape
It works as a ribbon fine but corrective ribbon doesn't fit properly, so I can not use corrective ribbon.

Necessary supply for antique equipment
I ordered this typewriter ribbon because I had just installed the last one we had in our IBM Wheelwriter, and who knows how long I'll be able to find ribbons for it. Glad you can help us out, and hopefully when I install this ribbon I'll be able to order another for backup.

What is This Thing?
I have a niece who really loves typewriters, so I bought her this, thinking it was a ribbon for her hair. Looking back, I should have known that's not the type of thing that Staples would sell. Luckily, it works well with the typewriter I still use to write my manifesto, so it's not a complete loss.

Works great
I bought this for an IBM/Lexmark Wheelwriter 1500. It fits perfectly. It takes the correction tape cartridge, but the fit isn't great. From what I've read, this is common these days.

I was happily surprised that I was even able to find the ribbon. Typewriters aren't that much used these days.... our office had several old ribbons--but none that would fit the typewriter I use. I don't use it often, but when I need it, I need it! nothing else will really do for certain labels, forms, etc.

Just what was needed
Works as expected. There may be an issue where the imprint doesn't work as well on certain paper surfaces, where it doesn't show completely solid. Didn't have the same issues with a previous brand. But I'd need to do more experimenting to confirm.
