Name brand matters here
Sometimes store brands do the job but in this case Scotch is head and shoulders above them. When you send a package you don’t want to take a chance with inferior products.

Strong and Effective
Staples’ prices are very high even on sale but this tape is strong sturdy and durable. I like that the tape is also quiet and does not get stuck on the roll.

The scotch brand tape is great for packing up Etsy orders. I have recently discovered it is dramatically quieter than staples store brand tape. All tape makes a noice as you roll it to use it but staples brand is a louder cry.

Disapointed.
The adhesive wouldn't hold but I figured it was a one off. NOPE! Got another and got the the same lousy result.

Scotch Sure Start Ship Packing Tape w/ dispenser
I have used this tape before and loved it. As for the dispenser part...it's new for me and haven't used it yet to need to replace so don't know about that.

Expensive. I didn’t need the dispenser it came with which made it cost more. I just need one roll of large clear tape.
