Staples 2 Filament Tape Dispenser Metal
I am only the purchasing agent for this but the end user for this product loves it and doesn't want to use anything else.

Half Good
There is only one side of the dispenser that keeps the tape roll in place. It is open on the opposite side and the tape tens to come out of the dispenser. And the round holder is much narrower that the 2" wide tape.

Not left handed friendly
I only gave it 3 stars because, although this is a good dispenser, it's not if you are left handed.

Just what I needed....
I was in need of a decent packaging tape dispenser and wanted something durable, but not too bulky since I have a tiny office. I'm a believer in spending a little extra money for quality because in the long run it will save me the time and hassle of dealing with something that fails after just a few years. This fits the bill perfectly and it didn't cost a fortune! Heavy...

a little big
I didn't exactly know my tape size the core fits perfect, but the width for the tape is a little too wide but still usable. at least I don't have to use my sore thumb to cut all that tape with the many rolls of cloth I have to produce a day

I used to have a similar dispenser - http://www.staples.com/Staples-2-inch-Filament-Tape-Dispenser-Plastic-Each/product_897941 - but the pegs that hold the tape in position broke after someone who wasn't particularly careful used it. This one, being made of metal will definitely last for a very long time.
