VERY DISAPPOINTED
If you are looking for a mat that will have a stable surface over a deep pile carpet, I highly suggest that you look somewhere else because after much time studying the catalog Staples offers, this was the best I could identify and it is inadequate.

Very good Chair Mat
Very good, however it really isn't made for 1 in pile carpet which is what we have. It needs to be made thicker so it doesn't allow dips in the mat. When you do, I'll be in line to buy it . In the mean time change your ad description to: " up to 3/4 in carpet pile".

Sadly it does not adequately grip the carpet, and thus slides/moves on the carpet, and I have to move it back into the correct position every 3 or 4 days.

Terrible delivery issues. 1st delivered to a different address, then when they said delivery would be 2 days later it became 3 days later and its delivered with no plastic covering, just left outside tossed on the walkway. Not even flat. That takes a few additional days in the garage on the floor. Poor customer service.

Poor quality
I’ve had this for about a week and already it has cracked and has formed divots where the chair wheels are. I would not recommend this.

The mat does not stay in place and the material is very soft, so my 140# sitting in my chair makes dents with the roller feet and the chair gets stuck in the indention.

Delivery - please don't use strapping tape
Hi. I got the chair mat today, and thank you for delivering it. However, for the love of all that is holy, please do not use cheap strapping tape to hold it together for delivery! I have spent a half hour and will probably spend many hours more trying to remove the shredded tape and sticky residue from the surface, left behind by the packing tape used. Use twine or some...

Not heavy enough
I have medium pile carpet and my casters sink into it and create divots/depressions and doesn't roll. I will return it and hope the one for heavy duty carpet works. The chair and I probably weigh 230 lbs.

We have a pretty thick pile carpet in the room where my desk is. I spend a fair amount of time in front of the computer. Like any plastic mat, this one does develop dents from the chair wheels over time. I turn the chair base every day or two to help change the pressure points on the mat.

Just what I was looking for
I was looking for a chair mat for high carpet and this is great. Delivery was weird where they did not package it. But it is incredibly solid with no bending around the edges. It is pricy but you get what you pay for.
