I returned this because chair makes ruts-too soft
Not sure why this vinyl/plastic is so soft. The chair sinks into it and I had push hard with my feet to dislodge the chair to roll it. I appreciated that Staples made it easy to return and it was picked up promptly.

Fantastic
Bought for my son for Christmas. He's 16 a gamer and pretty happy about it. Very well priced and it seems like it will hold up well for a few years. Also being from a woman owned business was definitely a reason to purchase.

Excellent chairmat
Far better than expected. Delivered flat so no curling issues as with other mats. On my 1/4"-pile carpet my 5-leg chair carrying 150 pounds rolls smoothly. It is translucent with no smell whatsoever. A bargain!

Not Thick enough
We truley enjoy the size as we have a small office & we can now roll from the desk to the file cabnet in the chair. Problem is it won't last very long as we already have deep depressions under the desk. I weigh 230 & my partner less than 1/2 that I think it's the thicker carpet. I wish you had a thicker plastic with no treads to put on top of this new one!

I recently purchased a chair mat from the ES Robbins brand but unfortunately it isn't working well for my needs. I initially ordered the mat for a low pile carpet but it turns out I needed one for a high pile carpet. The mat is caving in where the wheels of my chair rest and I weigh 165 lbs. Plastic Chair Mat
The low pile mat is very flexible. It arrived partially folded inside a cardboard sleeve that was supposed to keep it flat. I should have ordered the medium pile mat as the low pile mat develops "dents" where the chair's casters sit. It is better than no mat but not by much.

Material too soft
I have a Herman Miller office chair and the material of the mat is too soft to support my chair. The chair wheels sunk and cause dents that are hard to roll out of and then stay out of.

a tad flimsy but a good value and perfect for our need
we put it in an invalid's bedroom to protect W-2-W carpet in the area where meals may sometimes be assembled or even prepared. PERFECT!

I would have given 5 stars but it delivered with a 2 inch curl on one side. I did not want to return so I accepted the deformity. I liked that it was delivered in a flat box. I would recommend the mat.
