DON'T BUY THEM
I PURCHASED 3 OF THESE. NONE OF THEM LASTED MORE THAN A FEW DAYS, AND I MEAN NOT EVEN A WEEK, BEFORE STATING THE CARTRIDGE NEEDED TO BE CHANGED AGAIN. I TOOK THEM BACK TO THE STORE AND I WAS TOLD IT WAS NOT A STAPLES PRODUCT. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE QUALITY AND THE SERVICE.

Remanufactured Fax Drum
The Tru Red Remanufactured Brother Fax Drum seems fine. It gave me a little trouble with the machine knowing it was there but shutting it off and then turning it on cleared that problem. It seems to be working well with the fax machine.

So far it is working as well as the brand new ones I have bought in the past. I would recommend it although I do think the price is a little high for a drum that is not brand new.

Drum Replacement
Had a little trouble getting the setting back to not saying replace drum kit, after we replaced it. Possibly was on the printer side because it finally reset after multiple tries.

did not recognize at first
The printer would not recognize that a new drum had been installed at first. Was still receiving the "change drum" report. When I came back the next day however, that was gone and it has worked since.

Support was great
I my Brother MFC7360N did not reset the drum counter in the way described on the packaging of my remanufactured unit. I called tech support and within 2 minutes they told me how to do that and it worked.

The Printer is talking to me
I am not sure about the re-manufactured drum. the printer does not seem to understand I have a re-manufactured drum in its guts & is still telling me at least once a day that the drum is ready to expire & I should get it a replacement right away.
I thought when I put the new drum in (after following all directions, of course) it would be a happy camper.

The reason I score low on this item. I record the date when i replaced toner in the office to see how long before I order the next. This toner was replaced on 2/3/2020 and was empty by February 28, 2020. I never had a problem with the toner unless the replacement was not full. There were not an increase in receiving faxes for this month.

Less Expensive vs Time it Last
I don't have the exact data on this but the price seems to also include the diminishing of time before we have to order another one.
It is obvious it doesn't last as long (per csr) so the amount of saving is questionable.
