Ink smears on plastic envelopes
Plastic envelopes offer little resistance to bending and using a rubber stamp results in ink smears even after the ink has had time to dry or is covered with transparent tape. And plastic actually costs much more money than white kraft (paper).

Excellent mailers
I have been through 150 of these and find they work very well. They are very light weight so yes perhaps if you are shipping sharp items they may not be strong enough. But I am mostly shipping puffy items up to a pound or so and they work great. Very sticky seal no need for any further tape.

The item pictured is great if you can ACTUALLY receive the product from Staples. Sometimes I get the good quality pictured but most times I receive a VERY CHEAP substitute of poor quality. I have called multiple times asking why I receive a substitute and am told its a problem in the warehouse. I am PAYING for good quality not the cheap items I am embarrassed to use for...
