Best start for an early recorder
I was looking for a good quality microphone, but as a new amateur I didn't want to spend too big; certainly not for extra equipment and software. With Yeti, it's just a simple USB plug and I'm all set. The quality is excellent and the adjustment options are a wonderful plus. No regrets with this purchase.

Cords Cheaped Out
The Mic is great quality but a few issues really popped up. If I got Close to mic, and then moved back, it'd automatically drop my sound and I'd appear really far away.

Amazing microphone!
I bought this microphone to use with speech recognition software. The sensitivity of the microphone is outstanding. I am pleased with the sturdy metal exterior…and the mike won’t tip over. Great quality and cool looking!
A colleague with a lot of expertise in A/V recommended the Yeti mic. I was not disappointed, this thing picked up the audio from a video I needed to transcribe and saved me a lot of typing. Studio Quality Microphone

Blue Yeti microphone`
Excellent fidelity and clarity. Using it for Dragon dictation. My voice is raspy and the prior microphone was not doing well. This Blue Yeti is amazingly more accurate and I am very pleased.

Only one complaint
The Mic is phenomenal and has crystal clear quality to it. I'm no audio expert but if you need a mic for podcasting or video this will do the job very well. Only complaint I have is it uses an older "mini" usb (not Micro) which are not very common anymore and a pain to replace. The one it comes with is also not the sturdiest. This microphone has many features that make it useful in various applications, such as recording video voice-overs (my initial use), directional (usual) or omni-directional (e.g., center of conference room table) applications, etc. It is large and heavy, which can be an advantage or a disadvantage. Great product
This mic was recommended to us by someone else who uses it. We had trouble at first getting the mic and the speakers to work, until we determined that the speakers plug right into the bottom of the Yeti mic. The system works exceptionally well.

Excellent Product
I use this microphone with Dragon Speaking and am very happy with it. I can be 12 inches plus away from the mic dictating, speaking conversationally and the pickup and accuracy of my dictation is very commendable.
