V600 Photo Scanner Comments
I have been using my scanner for about a month and totally enjoy it. It produces the excellent results that it has stated in brochures.
I would recommend this unit to anyone that wants to transfer slides or negatives into digital pictures.

Epson V600 Scanner
First I'll start this off by saying I've had four Epson inkjet printer and really enjoyed them all.
But this scanner is one of the worst I've ever used. There seems to be dust on the lamp or lens. I've cleaned the glass bed over and over but the same little swirl of lint always appears in the same place.

DO NOT BUY
Total pc of garbage, combined with ZERO support. You can get a rep M thru F during a small window. They will have their script ready for you. Ofcourse asking the simplest of questions Did you power it on did you make sure the cable was plugged in securely and then after they've exhausted Those tough questions they are out of ideas.

Excellent Quality! Lasts for Years!
I have been using this scanner for years and love it! It is excellent quality! My father has a lot of 35mm slides and I love that I can scan 35mm slides and negatives in addition to the photos.

Worst Support Ever
Got great reviews so I tried twice. Support staff does not speak English well and could not understand. Could never get to connect with Windows 11. Horrible experience. I did not feel like a VIP as Shaq promised.

It was a great scanner, but then Windows 11 happened!
Awesome scanner unless your computer is Windows 11. Between Windows and Epson, no one can get the scanner app work consistently. So this awesome scanner is crippled by a dysfunctional app. There are some generic apps that allow basic scanning, but this apps don't support negatives and slides. Also, the basic apps don't have the necessary tools to clean up images, slides...

Great Scanner that delivers quality scans.
I have 2 of the V600 Perfection Photo Scanners and both work very well. Setup is easy right out of the box. I use these primarily for photo print scanning and found that they deliver excellent results. I previously owned the older V500 models as well. The V600 is a very affordable quality scanner.

Epson Perfection V600 Flatbed Scanner
I purchased this for a project at church to make digital scans of our historic records. The scanner works well with paper documents as well, but size is limited by the scanner bed. I did not try this machine yet with negatives. Quality of scans is very nice. I had used this machine before at my sister's house and was glad I did. The set-up instructions are minimal....

Great scanner for photos and negatives
This scanner does an amazing job on negatives! I was impressed with the quality of the scan and the auto damage correcting software. I was working on negatives that were 60 years old!
Scanning photos is a little misleading, however. The scanner goes up to 12,800 dpi, but only if under certain dimensions (somewhere around 21,000 x 30,000 pixels. The highest res it would...

The lid requires both hands to open as it sticks shut. Otherwise it is an excellent machine.

Excellent for Medium Format and 35mm B&W negatives & slides
I bought this primarily to scan old 120 medium format B&W negatives and also 35 mm B&W negatives and slides.
It has worked very well for all of these purposes and I have saved a huge amount of money on the medium format negatives as compared to what it would cost for commercial scans of similar resolutions.

A Very happy customer!
I have owned this V600 Photo Scanner for about a month now and am extremely pleased. It is very well made. I scan both 35mm negatives and old photographs and I consider the results to be outstanding! However, as a someone who is technically challenged, I found the learning curve to bit harder than I thought. I do wish that the instructions had been written in simpler te...

Works great
I have had this product for one week and am currently using it to scan old photos for a presentation. I like that it can scan multiple photos at once, it is relatively easy to use, and the quality seems just fine. The only issue was with the poor start-up instructions and documentation. After multiple internet searches and YouTube videos, I finally felt comfortable sele...

Water Color artist is happy with the scans
Ordered direct from Epson, it arrived in perfect condition, and worked as expected. My wife is a watercolor artist and she is very happy with the scans that she gets from the V600. I would recommend it without hesitation. I would like it if Epson included the Arcsoft "Scan-n-stitch" software with it.

Good scanner if no manufacturing defects in glass
I bought this scanner specifically for scanning old slides & negatives; my basic printer/scanners work fine for regular documents & photos. The V600 produces very good scans, albeit somewhat slowly on the higher resolution settings. I hope its longevity is as good as the scan quality.

Epson Perfection V600 Flatbed Color Photo, Film an
Works, easy to set-up and relatively fast scans at 300 dpi. Film negatives and slide holders are flimsy and require care when using them.

Happy with the Perfection V600
My primary use of the scanner is film negatives but I have also used it for old photo prints and it works very well on all of this. The settings in the Professional mode are all very useful and easy to manage once the user's manual is studied.
