Works right out of the box easy to use and even comes with two choices for earphone covers.

Needs add'l parts
I bought this thinking it would work for our phones at the office but it only comes with the quick connect end. You have to purchase the other piece that plugs into the phone separately. I wish that was made more clear on this listing as well as a link to purchase the other piece.
