We're really sorry to hear you had this experience with our Tide Original Liquid Laundry Detergent. It must upsetting that the scent was too powerful causing such effect on your health. We understand scent is very subjective, and we appreciate you providing us with this feedback, but this is definitely not the type of experience we want you to go through. This issues could be caused by the product being exposed to extreme heat or cold. Always store the product in a cool (but not cold), dry place. Additionally, if the product is very old this has the potential to affect the perfume. You are correct that we introduced BIT (bezisothiasolinone) across our Liquid Laundry detergents in 2024 as a quality preserver. We are sorry to hear that you have an allergy to this ingredient.
