This is the third toner in the past couple of years to go bad with only being used 1/3 of its life - and only a couple of months old. They start throwing spots on the paper. And I know it isn't my printer because when I swap out the toner to a newer one I just purchased the spots stop.

Substandard product
Apparently we received either a refurbished cartridge or a knock-off. Our printer started printing terribly so we cleaned the rollers but it didn't help. We decided to change the toner cartridge and when we took the cartridge out noticed that it is not an official HP cartridge. Please see photos. Once we put a new cartridge in the printer worked fine.

Ordering issue
I ordered this thinking this 90X an extended cartage was for my printer using a 90a. When ordering this is not clear. I now have 2 90x that I can't use.

Operator says it only lasts about a week and a half then need to replace with new one. I asked how many copies were made...they have no idea. Should be 10 000 copies. Thank you!

LaserJet Toner great print quality
I am a distance student, and this semester, no textbooks, so I have to print out the reading assignments. The cartridge gives over 10,000 pages, and the ink quality is great.
