Cheap, thinner rubber than older models.
This case is TRASH. I have the same one on my IPhone XS Max and you immediately notice the difference in quality. The rubber on the new ones don’t even compare to the old. It’s flimsy, less durable, and overall a waste of money. Not to mention the SCREEN IS FLUSH WITH THE CASE. How is that suppose to keep my screen protected?? My 1st Otterbox

Highly recommend
This waa a gift i got my 18 year old son for Christmas. He's in the navy and got a stars and stripes design. He absolutely loves the design and the durability of the case. It also helps that it is water proof. It was an excellent purchase and I highly recommend.

The best phone case I’ve had
This is all I needed. I drop my phone all the time and this case is perfect for me! If you do sports or there’s a possibility of you hitting your cellphone while working just buy this case!

Best Case I Ever Had
It’s doing its job. I have an autistic child who uses my phone while we are on the go and my phone have managed all these tosses. Starting to wreck my phone
Bought this case for work thinking it would be the best option for protecting my expensive phone. Found that after a couple weeks it had scratched and started to chip at the bezels of my new iPhone. This version of the Defender is NOT user friendly.
Used Defender cases for my previous two versions of iPhones. The first one was great (thick case and VERY easy to place in and remove from the belt clip). Wish I could use my defender case
I love otter box but when I bought a MagSafe wireless charger and the defender case it said they would work together but they do not at all, so I had to go back to a cheaper case just to work on the magsafe wireless charger.

Not good for arthritic hands-difficult attachment

Garbage
The fitment on the holster is garbage. The phone keeps falling out. These newer Otterbox cases are NOT as good as the old models. Seems like Otterbox is trying to cut costs and corners.
I will not purchase another Otterbox case until the issues with the Holster are corrected.
