Part of the Family

Insane value for a business laptop
My office is typically Dell-centric but we were looking to find something larger than a 15" laptop. In comes the Thinkpad E16 with a 16:10 screen. My colleague is really happy with this thing.
The chassis is a bit of a fingerprint magnet but the laptop is incredibly light (weight wise). The screen is vibrant, and although the keyboard layout is different it works well....

Fast and it has the all important TrackPoint stick
I've been using Thinkpads for many years. This one didn't disappoint. As usual, the OS is not filled with unnecessary bloat and, like all my other Thinkpads, it has the TrackPoint pointing stick! I do not like touchpads and few manufacturers have the stick.
This was my first experience with Windows 11. It's okay. A few annoyances but that's not the fault of the laptop....

works as advertised
functions well, no issues with the laptop so far. The keyboard is comfortable to use, the screen is good and the battery life has been excellent.

Switched from Dell to Lenovo
I switched to Lenovo from Dell after looking for a new computer and seeking something that has a better physical build quality. So far, this laptop appears to have stronger hinges and screen construction.

Kudos to Lenovo for offering a good price and fast shipping. However, the description of the one I purchased said it did not have a touch screen, while the one that arrived, in fact, did. Still Tier 1 Systems
Over 20 years with Thinkpads. Wonderful systems, they can move mountains. Been using this newest one as the main machine for 2 weeks now. This is just what i wanted at a fine price for such a historically outstanding system that has, of course, stayed current.

Nice computer, recommended.
The computer It's actually very good as well is fast in all use, I like it from my school work and even gaming activities. I just wish that the computer, since it's touch screen, could fold completely, but otherwise all good. :)

Solid laptop with little to complain about
The touchscreen is fun to play with and the laptop quality feels super solid. I haven't had any issues with mine and it's running strong with all of the office/excel work I've been throwing at it.

So far so good!
Upgraded from T530 to T560, and now to this E16. Best so far with an i7, M.2, and 1080p. 16" screen with narrow borders is very nice, and I love the backlit keyboard. I wish I could turn off the touch screen, and swap the num lock & calc keys. I always keep num lock on, and to now have to use a function key to open the calculator every time is very annoying since I ...
