Exactly what I needed
My MacBook needed repair so I needed to transfer all photos and videos on an external drive. This one doesn’t need an extra dongle it fits the port and transfer speed seemed good. I like the clean white look as well. Overall good product.

Fast and reliable
Very fast drive to copy pictures and videos. I have been using Seagate drives for 26 years now and never had a drive failure. It is very relaible product.

Quick and Easy
When our 1TB Seagate failed to synch with our Mac, we ordered this one which has done exactly what it is supposed to do, as did the older model until this incident. It is easy to use and USB-C makes it easy to connect to our newer MAc.

Convenient and fast
It is simple to use with its wizard that takes into account whichever operating system you are running on. Choose or create a plan of what you want backed up, and let it copy everything over. It didn't take long before all files from all accounts on my computer were saved.

The Quality I've Come To Expect From Seagate
I've purchased Seagate products in the past and have always been satisfied with the quality of the products. This external disk drive appears to be as good as anything I've owned from this manufacturer. Why the 4-star rating? I've owned it for less than a month. Let's see how it performs over the next year or so.

Loving this!

Always do backups!

Great compact and rugged external HDD

Great Hard Drive!

It doesn't need an extra power source which makes it easy to carry around. I haven't tried the software because I wanted a portable drive not cloud software.
