Works well - plug and play no drivers needed
Works well with my HP Envy laptop. Just plug it in on the USB C port and the HDMI port connected to the HDMI port of my Samsung TV via a HDMI cable. Now I have a massive laptop screen!

Does not work at all!
This item was purchased to connect an HP Zbook to a Samsung t.v. It does not work. Why did HP make a ZBook without an HDMI connector and then not allow video via a USB-C port? It is silly to have to purchase a docking station for this device. Most devices have an HDMI or USB connector that works!

Wish it clearly states before final purchase that this was something that could not be returned. Doesn’t work on my new computer and I can’t return it so I’m stuck with it.

Unable to Connect to my Samsung CR50 27" Curved Mo
The HDMI USB3c connector device you sent me does not seem to work. I get the message "the last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned. Windows does not recognize it." I am trying to connect a Samsung CR50 27" curved monitor to my HP EliteBook 840 G3 running Windows 10.

Straight forward and easy to use
I bought this device a few weeks ago, just in time for World Cup, and it was so easy to use. No additional steps were needed other than to plug in and go. I currently use a HP spectre notebook.
