Best value and protection in the industry!
After a lot of research and reading through multiple reviews, the Tripp Lite stands out as one of the best in the industry.
The pros are:
- 4320 joules
- 12 outlets
- 8ft cord
- Two USB charging ports
- Lifetime warranty
Don't have to worry about surges as this will provide great protection.

Tripp Lite is best for power protection
Several years ago, the first Tripp Lite surge suppressor I used had 6-outlets and a steel case. I purchased one for home use and wasn't sorry. Tripp Lite products are quality made and unlike some other brands come with long power cords and several protected outlets. Tripp Lite is the only brand I buy.

Best bang for the buck!
Great unit. Slim design and light weight. Having 4320 joules is what sold me. That's outstanding protection at a very reasonable price! As well with two USB ports makes this a winner!

Probably the safest surge protector on the market under $50
Got this to protect some sensitive electronics I'd recently purchased, and have no complaints. I especially like how it'll disable itself one it's no longer able to provide protection, since that was a concern I'd had about surge protectors before doing research. It offers plenty of room for various plugs and configurations, though I wish Tripp-Lite offered more models ...

Great Surge Protector!
I use this as the cornerstone of my entertainment setup. I use it to power my TV, PS5, AppleTV, home theater receiver, and cable modem/router. I haven't had to use the insurance yet but I'm glad to know it's there.

Sturdy, versatile, and well priced
Love the indication lights for it being grounded and protected. It's got a ton of sockets, usb ports, and other inputs I'll probably never end up needing, and the price was pretty good. It's worth the peace of mind, as about 50% of my net worth is ultimately plugged into this surge protector in the form of expensive electronics.

Great product for a great price.
This is a great product. I think this is the device you need if you're looking for a surge protector with the highest level of protection (more joules mean more protection), which is what I was looking for when I got it. I would but this again and I will recommend it to others.
We recently installed new routers and other equipment from our new internet company and they recommended TripLite surge protectors. I love it because you can plug anything into it.

I would buy again !
Use surge protector for my computer and electronic devices. I like the fact that it has wide plug space for those plugs that are wider. I liked it so much I purchased another one identical to it for my Home theater in the living room.

Space saver
A true space saver as well as a surge protector. All 12 of my electrical plugs could be fitted onto the Tripp. Worth having this.

Very nice surge protector!
I've had it less than a month, so I have no idea how it will hold up over time, but it feels solidly built. I mounted it on the underside of my desk, and it has plenty of outlets for my PC, multiple monitors, and my 3D printing setup. Having over 4000 joules of protection may be a bit overkill, but it is great peace of mind. Would definitely recommend!

I have used Tripp-Lite before and this one was easy to set up. Very happy with the performance. Use it for computer and the accessories.

Well built and designed product!
Replaced an old UBS, and decided no longer needed the backup capability, but rather a few more outlets. This item works for my needs and takes up less space. Seems to be quality build. Will recommend to others.

Works.
Good build quality. Receptacles not hard to place plugs in like some reviews I saw. Good receptacle layout. RJ11 protection seems useless today but does not inhibit anything. No surge yet. Hopefully insurance is easy to use in case of failure.

Very poor design
I am not sure if they have an engineer designing these, or a monkey. The outlets in the middle are all entirely too close together for normal plugs to fit, so you're going to be using every other one at best. The outlets on the edges are spaced further apart laterally, but too close to the middle ones, so any big power supply plugged into those will take up at least two...
