Boosted Raspberry PIs through my KVM
A while back I bought a KVM for my various systems and several Raspberry PIs. The HDMI didn't work for the PIs. I thought it was a problem with the KVM. I saw online that someone suggested boosting the HDMI signal, so I bought this. I plugged it in between the monitor and KVM and it did the trick. All my PIs now have HDMI. I didn't need the 5v power supply.

Produces dropouts
I got 50 feet hdmi cable to projector, sometimes there are dropouts. With this device things are much worse! Impossible to use at all, glitches stars just after few seconds of usage. I'm not using power adapter, as it was said that it's optional. Very dissapointed.

Product works as well designed
I am using a 50ft HDMI extension: source-50ft cord-booster-8ft cord. At first no signal would come though. When I added the booster, the signal worked but would drop intermittently. So I added the power adapter and everything works fine.
