Fine Product
Purchased to replace a non-Dell charging unit, I was gratified to learn that it worked with two of my old Dell laptops. It's a nice design, with the cord conveniently wrapping around the body of the charger. It makes for a compact item to carry with the laptop.

OEM is the best option
Works very well. I ordered this after trying a non-OEM adapter that didn't work so well. The lighted barrel on the end of the cable that plugs into the laptop is a nice touch.

Dell took extra time to make it right
Because I lost my Chromebook charger, I went to Dell’s website to order another & ordered the charger recommended for my product. When it arrived, it didn’t fit. I called & they made it right. They saw why I had ordered the one I had, did not charge me for it, and helped me to find & order the proper sized charger.

Product compatibility listing is garbage.
The Dell website displays completely incorrect/inaccurate information regarding the listing of Dell laptops that this adapter is compatible with. That is also the case for other adapters and many other accessories listed for purchase on the Dell website. Dell 7.4 mm barrel 65 W AC Adapter
This product the, The Dell adapter with power cord works perfectly. It even has a light on cord to indicate it is charging. I am very pleased with this device.

Quick order and shipping process BUT a redesign may be needed to avoid the root issue.
The ones that I had, the black plastic casing on the plug end started to pull back and the exposed wires started to fray. I order a few and the order came quickly. Redesigning it so that the issue doesn't happen would be great because these are cheap.
