unreliable bad cable
This cable came with my Thinkpad hybrid USB-C dock, but the displaylink dock would refused to wake up out of power savings yellow led. I thought the dock was the issue, but instead Replaced this thinkpad 03X7470 cable with another 10Gbps usb c cable and it now works perfectly

Useless to me
The Lenovo sales person told me that this cable converts video via USB c to my USB a port.
It didn’t work though. Cable is useless to me.

USB-C w/ A cable - very satisfied
This cable originally came with a Lenovo dock I purchased and I made the mistake of pulling it too hard one day and breaking it. I had connection trouble with using other USB-C cables (generic) so I finally caved and purchased this OEM cable. Works perfectly - no more stress. Works well to adapt the USB for an older laptop.
