Hello, thanks for leaving your review. The rear speaker channel mixes will ultimately be a creative choice by the studio. Main audio will be found in your front left/right and center channel speakers, this would include music, and dialog, whereas, rear surrounds will only be used for additional effects, ambience, etc when required. It's normal for these channels to not be as loud as the front speakers. ADAPTiQ will automatically calibrate the speakers to the correct balanced volume levels to allow audio to play back as the studio intended, however, if you wish to adjust the levels manually, this can be done within the Bose app. Jeff - Customer Support

If you are unable to connect the wireless surround speakers to your system, try the following:A reset can reboot your product or it can clear locally-stored product settings, such as paired device lists. Find out which option is available to reset your product. To prevent wireless signals from over-powering devices next to it, be sure to keep other wireless devices at least two feet away from the soundbar and the surround speaker receivers. On each receiver, be sure the L/R (left/right) switch is set appropriately. One receiver must be set to Left and the other to Right; the receivers will not work if they are set the same. Toggle the switch of the receiver to be sure it is fully set to the L or R position.
