Does not work with HomeKit
Bought the WiFi Lock since it is advertised as supporting HomeKit. HomeKit keeps showing "no response" from the lock. I have restarted the lock and reset the lock to factory setting multiple times with no change. Called August support and was informed they do not offer support for HomeKit problems. Very good entrance door lock.
My husband bought and installed it approximately two months ago. This far we are happy with it. Sometimes we get errors after closing or locking the door.

Pretty Decent, but low battery warning...
I have this lock working on my front door, and it's been pretty solid for a number of years. Works fine through the August app, whether using bluetooth, cell, or wi-fi connection. Apple Home is usually unable to see it. Home Assistant works pretty good - about a 1-second delay in responses to commands. Unfortunately, this model predates Apple's Home Key.

Easy to install
I bought this yesterday. It arrived today and I installed it in 30 minutes. Works great. Best part is you don’t have to take all the hardware off your door to install it.

Great Smart Lock
I’ve had this lock for a few years now, and really enjoy overall. Overtime, I’ve changed how I use it though. The “Auto Unlock” feature when you get home seems nifty, but you need to give unlimited access to your location which I don’t love and stopped using. Love it!!
After trying to decide how to lock my house (keypad vs no keypad) I decided to go with the August Lock. It’s easy to install, and I used my existing lock, so no extra hardware needed. All you have to have is WIFI, and you can use your house key as a back up. Would highly recommend!

Great Wi-fi door lock
This is an excellent Wi-fi door lock! Easy to use! The installation was simple. The app is really easy to use & the door opens so perfectly! I highly recommend this if you don’t want to carry your key! Great for Apartments or homes!

Best item I have bought
I bought this item a couple of weeks ago. Very easy to install and so easy to use. You can unlock your door from your phone no need to use a key any more. Its the best.

Great features
switched from Google Nest to this lock, and it works great. It’s easy to track whether my husband or I forgot to lock the door, so there are fewer arguments now.

Highly recommend
So happy we bought this. Easy to use and so convenient. No more fumbling through layers of clothes to find the key in cold weather. Just a simple click and open sesame.

Been working great, my 2nd august
Had this for over a year, inly negative is the batteries. They need a special one which cost more, however they do last for a while. Great thing with this lock is that you cannot tell from the outside that their is a smart lock, and you cannot tell still use a key. Also no subscription is needed

Super helpful in many ways
I love this, wouldn’t want to use any other lock!
the only thing I wish I could do is unlock from far away but otherwise great product, never gives me issues of any kind

August Locks
Nearly 9 years and counting with August locks. My lastest one with WiFi built in is awesome. So nice to allow others time limited access or unlimited access. You are in control! Highly recommend these locks for personal homes, elderly parents, rentals.

Finicky install. Terrible battery life
These locks just chew up CR123 batteries. Constantly replacing them.

Love the August lock.
We’ve been using this lock for just over a year and love if. Very easy to install and the app works great too. I also bought the Yale keypad for it, which also works great.

Company and lock is great
I bought the lock years ago and there hasn’t been any issues with the second one. The first one had some problems at the start and the company sent me a brand new one, no questions asked. This was before they were bought out/ merged.

Good Product But Battery life Sucks
I bought this product for my Front door. The products work's good.
The only issue is that I have had it for about 8 months and had to change batteries 4 times
already.
