Awful product design.
Do NOT buy this product! You will spend hours trying to separate the label backing from the label. Apparently this label printer does not work with the Tze labels that are split down the middle and therefore easy to peel. This asks you to insert the label and somehow flick it to separate it, but it does NOT work but 10% of the time.

Case to large
Case is larger than first edition, which makes the buttons difficult to press.

Nifty!
I like this. I need to label containers in the kitchen and hobby projects and it's great for that. Some complain about battery life wake up! Eneloop rechargeable batteries have been around for years and they work great!

A good basic label maker
A really handy label maker! It allows you to review your label prior to printing. The keyboard has a retro feel, which I find amusing. Definitely an upgrade from my Dad's old Dymo label maker.

Disappointing
I've always like the Brother label makers, however this new model is not user friendly. I used to be able to use "symbols" directly from the keyboard, not this model. I can't figure out how to get to them, even using the manual. My last one was so easy built better too, it lasted close to 20 years. I doubt if this one will and next, will consider other brands.

Best Priced Label Maker
If you just want to get started and merely skim the instructions, this is so intuitive and easy to use. Love all my brother products; this is just my latest acquisition.

Battery Shows Low Quickly
I like the size of the printer, but I printed a total of 15 labels and it shows low battery. It would be nice if it had an adapter instead of only batteries. I would return it if I could.

Battery issues
Works very good...but...
Can't print but 3 labels, then shows low battery, can print 2 or 3 more labels, then batteries completely die.
Can't find any kind of power supply port on the machine at all...
