Straps broke my screen! Do not purchase!!!!
Crappy design caused the strap that limits the case opening broke the screen on my MacBook Pro. I am not the only one according to many reviews. BUY ANOTHER CASE! Beware!

Solid protection!
I bought this case a few years ago for my new Macbook 16" Pro. I'm a graphic designer and often take my laptop on the go. I set my closed/cased laptop on the banister for a moment to grab something and my cat pushed it off, causing it to tumble down the entire flight of stairs. Dangerous to you device, beware!

Watch out for straps
Be careful when closing as the straps fold inward and could crack your laptop screen like it did mine.

Awesome Sleeve, one drawback.
The sleeve is amazing very sturdy and a very heavy duty zipper. The only issue I had with the product was the packaging. I am not sure if this applies to just retail sales but the packaging was zip tied so tight to the zipper it made it impossible to not scratch the zipper when I took it off. Perfect if you use your pc on the go
I waited before writing the review just to get to know the product better. Honestly, it's perfect. The zippers are easy to use, it's all cushioned inside so you know that if you drop your pc it will stay in good shape. Thule Gauntlet for travel
I expected a bit more protection for the weight of the product. Next design should include a strap or something to hold in hands without fear of dropping the case.

Bummed!
My husband bought me this case. I like the idea of it however the straps on the side are irritating. You have to consciously ensure the straps are out of the case when you close it. Sounds easy and a no brainer - but my laptop closed on a strap and cracked my screen of my Macbook which is $$$ to repair. Buyers just be aware....

Best Protective Sleeve on the Market
I recently purchased a MacBook Pro 16" and I want to keep it in pristine condition.This Thule Gauntlet is an excellent quality protective sleeve for your laptop. There are a lot of cheaper options out there but none of them come close to the quality of the Thule sleeve.

Keeping my macbook nice and safe
Very happy with this case. I keep my Mac in it all the time and close it when not using. The Mac does not get hot underneath either which I am very happy about. Highly recommend

Seems like a well built case.
It is a very protective case, while the laptop is stored inside. I don't know if I would recommend actually using it in the clamshell, as I believe it restricts airflow to the side vents.

Good for what it is
This appears to be well made, fits as advertised, and will prevent scratches, and in the event of a drop (with the case zipped up), it will offer a decent amount of protection. It is NOT however anywhere remotely close to crush proof. I was looking for something that would prevent a tight backpack from marking the screen with the keyboard over time, with out huge bulk...

Mitigating risk
This is a little big for my old 13” MacBook Pro, but it fits it snug and will prevent it from getting even more beat up than it is. If this is half as good as my old iPad case it’ll last for a long time.

Great Case for 15.6 inch Laptop
I was looking for a case that would be big enough to fit my 15.6 inch PC laptop. At first I tried the 15 inch sleeve, however that was ever-so-slightly too small.
