Great multi-function mobile adapter
The Dell USB-C Mobile Adapter has come in very handy when the ports on my Inspiron laptop are just not enough. It also outputs both HDMI and DisplayPort using only the one Thunderbolt 4 port, and does a great job at this. DA310 poor design.
Bad it generates a low power for charging warning.

Compact wonder!
The Dell USB-C Mobile Adapter works well. Maybe the next one should have more C slots and another B slot. I have so many things to plug into my computer. Maybe I should order another one!

Works well
I have used this for Ethernet, USB connect, HDMI connection using USB-C and it works fine so far. The device is kind of so warm (still touchable) when in use.

Utility of the DA310 at a teaching podium
In my teaching work I use this adaptor to interface between an XPS13 2-in-1 tablet and an HDMI projector, a USB audio device for a lapel microphone, a USB wireless mouse dongle, and supply power via the USB 3. All of this works as expected at the classroom podium.

Works great, just not with VPN
Seems to (mostly) work just fine, unless you use the ethernet with VPN access. It seems they use a RealTek chip for the ethernet, and the Win11 drivers (as of 5/24) are trash if you need to run a VPN (there is some unknown conflict). The other ports seem to be fine, it does what I want/expect, and the retractable USB-C is really nice.

Need extra USB ports?
I only have one USB connection on my laptop. This accessory gave me more and other connections.
