Hello! Sorry to hear about your disappointment. For our 'Yubico Login for Windows' program you would need a YubiKey from our 5 series, as the Security Key series is FIDO only. Thank you for the review and for the provided feedback! Please note that The YubiKey have been IP68 rated under IEC standard 60529, by an ISO 17025 certified lab. They’ve been tested for dust and water protection. Regarding carrying a Security Key on a keychain, my personal experience is that it works great! I’ve had my Keys on my keychain for years and they still work! 
With that said, we do have a one year warranty period where we would replace your key at no cost should it become damaged during that time. It's also best practice to always have a spare key in case the primary key becomes damaged or lost! Regarding instagram, I'm afraid that our Security Key Series is not compatible with this service because Instagram uses authenticators for two-factor authentication. The Security Key NFC isn't compatible with Authenticators, as it doesn't have the OATH applet found in our YubiKeys, which is where the authenticator code “secrets” get stored. Our YubiKey 5 series is compatible with the Yubico Authenticator.
