Does not work with the Canon DM-E1 microphone
Spent hours with the online community to figure out why I could not get the Canon WebCam Utility to recognize my DM- E1 microphone, also made by canon. Foud out the the webcam utility does not support the microphone!

Two Major Flaws
I’m not entirely sure what to say. This product is great at it’s primary function but disappoints in two major categories. It’s expensive. You’re going to pay about 6 times more than what you would for a comparable third party product. You’re paying for the Canon name here which hopefully translates into longevity. A major factor in my decision to pay the 6 times markup...
