Amazing router
I bought these from a recommendation from my ISP. to replace a very expensive router I just bought 4 months ago. I was having problems with. These are by far the best routers I have ever had! Very fast! And fairly simple to setup.

Simple and good speeds
Tried another mesh system and nothing but problems with connections and speed. The ZenWiFi XD6 is great ! Easy to set-up. It is a bit weird that the two units needed to be next to each other to set-up but I moved them after set-up with no problems. Liked the parent controls and web access to system. They have an app but not as useful and no information on screens. ...

Connections made throughout home
ASUS works in resolving internal internet signals throughout the house. The instructions need to be clear on whether the original modem is to be removed OR be connected to the ASUS unit to become another modem along with the second unit being the node.

Should had moved to ASUS DX6 2 years ago
After suffering trough 2 generations of Orbi (RBR53 + 2 satellites and RBR750 + 2 satellites) I had decided to try something different. Exceptional range and speed
After trying put a few APs, we decided to get a proper mesh system for our large house. While 4 devices was an overkill, but the network is so seamless now with all wired backhauls. It makes it so good to roam across the house and not worry about the quality of internet.

ASUS aimesh
Most of what I read made me think that aimesh wouldn’t work for me because of the distance I was trying to extend the wifi. So I tried an extender, then a repeater and finally a bridge. Asus ZenWiFi XD6
I split this Asus ZenWiFi XD6 set and connected each at different locations to an Asus RT-AX3000 router for strong fast 5G coverage throughout. One is WiFi connected and the other is hooked to an ethernet cable.

Disappointed in XD6 Mesh System
I am somewhat disappointed. Setup required two calls to Asus. This system seems underpowered, even the wired through put in the router is very low < 50 MBits, source router is 300 MBits. Awesome WiFi system
Awesome product! Great coverage throughout 2 story house. Easy setup, especially considering the large number of devices we moved from the old WiFi system. Great diagnostic/ admin app. Reliable; no downtime yet.

Great mesh set for wired backhaul
Very easy to set up and provides great coverage in my 3400 square foot two story house. House is wired so I went with the 2 band XD6 using wired backhaul. Getting much better 5 GHz coverage than my single RT-AC88U (3100) provided and the WiFi 6 speed boost is significant. Doing the set up on an app instead of a webpage interface was easy and fast.

XD6 Simple Install
Simple setup via App. Would have liked PC instructions as well included. one one issue so far. on installation the mesh Node would not connect as stated in instructions. I had to power cycle the node for it to finally connect. Turned on AIProtect, ddos, QOS. Only running 4 days. so far so goot.

This thing's great!
This thing's great! Now I get full 300 mbps speed in every room with no drops or reliability issues. Wifi speed is the same as wired speed and for once, limited by my cable internet speed otherwise wifi would be even faster!

New mesh router
Set up was easy. Initially thought I could replace the FIOS router with ASUS. However, TV service depends on FIOS router for DHCP for set-top boxes via a coax connection.
