Great remote!
Replaced an off-brand piece of junk with this one. Logitech never fails. They have excellent products and are reasonably priced. This remote works like a champ.

doesn't work on my TV monitor which has computer attached!!! Beware won't work on TV monitor computers.

Did not consistently advance slides
I had one like this before and it worked great. Just plug into USB port and use it. That is why I got this brand and type. This one seems to lock up if you let it sit idle for a while such as waiting to start a presentation. The only way I found to get through it is to unplug it from the USB port and plug it back in. can't see on TV
It has a good solid feel in your hand and the pointer is bright on the wall but contrary to what the description says I could not see on the TV unless I got really close to the screen.

Simple, efficient, I do not need more
This poster works perfectly for me - I purchased more fancy ones but they were not as efficient and constant as this one - so I went back to simplicity and that works well with my Apple laptop.

Sleeps, and won't wake up
After an hour or so, the clicker stops and it won't work again - unless I reboot the computer. I've tried turning the clicker off and on, and changing the USB port of the receiver, but neither of those things work. The only solution is to reboot the computer. I find this quite unacceptable, and not what I expected from a Logitech product.

Sticky rubber coating
I have used my R400 for years without issues. Then, rather suddenly, the rubber coating became sticky. No amount of cleaning resolved this problem. It is now a dust magnet, like a lint roller. Still functional but unpleasant to use.

Shut down / freeze up
I purchased the R400 and it mostly works well for classroom presentation imn PowerPoint. However, after ~30 minutes it freezes up and PowerPoint stops functioning. I must restart the entire system, sometimes rebooting my PC. It's not a battery issue. What gives?

Enviro disaster packaging
Good unit BUT needlessly packaged in a wasteful excess of hard plastic packaging.
