Works well between a Mac and a PC sharing a printer
works well between a Mac and a PC sharing a printer. The printer is an older Canon MF229dw and after a few snags setting it up it works like a charm. The office for iogear was very patient in helping me and I eventually figured out what I was doing wrong. I was hoping it was going to make printing from my Mac a bit faster than wi-fi printing. to say it is automatic is a bit misleading as you have to press a button when you want to switch it.

Great Print Sharing Switch !!!!
This was just was I needed to share a USB printer between a desttop and a laptop. If they are both up and running it only takes one touch of a button to switch. If one of the computers is not up it switches automatically to the running computer. Quick and easy install and use.

Great Solution for Laptop & Desktop
I purchased this item so I could share one printer with both laptop and desktop. I am so impressed. EASY to set up and works like a charm. Whatever device you turn on first laptop or desktop pc the switch automatically connects to that device. If you open the desktop PC after the laptop and you want to switch you just push the button and voila connects to that device...

Time Saver! This product is great. With the touch of a button a printer can be used with 2 printers without all the unplugging and re-plugging. Takes up very little space.
