Star Tech VGA Splitter
So I went to the local Staples store to inquire about what I needed to set up two monitors on my desktop and I was told all I needed was to get a VGA Y spitter. NOT! The cpu needs to have the correct video card to enable the cpu to recognize the second monotitor. The splitter was not in stock so I had to order. I could have ordered everything at once if I had known now...

easy set up
I wanted two screens in the same room separated so I could work at one desk and do home and bills at another. The splitter works great.

Splitter splits
The VGA splitter worked very well to attach my smart board to my desktop computer. Yeah it works as it is supposed to work!

I was unaware that the
I was unaware that the splitter cable would have both monitors would be mirror images of each other. I wanted to be able to see something different on each screen. This splitter was not what I needed in order to accomplish my goal.
