Lasted Less Than Four Months
Used the Trade UPS program to replace an old APC UPS. Received the new unit in early September. It's now late November and the unit failed an automatic self-test on bootup. I did a manual self-test and, sure enough, it failed. Power Chute displays "Battery in unit needs to be replaced." Invoked "Contact APC" from within Power Chute and have not yet received a response. ...

Reliable and useful; battery fit needs work
I own two of these and will probably be purchasing more. I like the LCD panel and the information it provides, particularly the current wattage draw of connected devices. Only one complaint, but a big one, the noise!
APC UPS's are reputable, good quality, super solid, and with awesome support. Otherwise I wouldn't look at them. Just bought Back-UPS BR1500G plus external battery pack for home use due to COVID-19 working from home all the time. Works for my devices

Great Reserve Power, Great Equipment Protection
I live in a small town where utility infrastructure reliability can be quite sketchy. I bought this not only to continue operation during outages, but to isolate and protect my expensive equipment from power anomalies. This product handles all of these concerns with excellence. My main go-to 1500 home use UPS!
This thing has been my main go-to for BACK-UPS protection for a long time now. Nice sized unit with the features you need and the ability to plug in an external battery pack into a port on the back. These are great!

APC BR1500G Rocks!
I have been using this product for over 5 years. The features that I love are the silence button, menu screen with unit operation details, user replaceable batteries, being able to set the UPS sensitivity, and the number 1 feature of this unit is the additional battery expansion pack that can be added to it! Couldn't ask for a better UPS than this.

Every Desktop in the World Needs One of These!
Why risk having your desktop shutdown unexpectedly while you're working on large Word documents or complicated Excel spreadsheets and then lose all of your hard work? These UPSes are not that expensive and provide more than adequate protection from blackouts and brownout conditions. Well worth the money that they cost!

So much power!
1500VA provides backup power for not only your PC but also your network and other peripherals. Maintains power for a long time after a power outage. Can't go wrong with APC.

I am disappointed in myself for not having bought one of these years ago. Reliable - Efficient
Just like my 'smaller' UPS review, I sell dozens and dozens of these things a year and they've proven themselves over and over again. When you don't overload these with too much equipment, I've gotten 20min+ out of them keeping my servers online while we lost power, has saved my bum MULTIPLE times.

Great Back UPS
BR1300G - I love this unit, keeps my server on for about 40 minutes and if everything is on it will last about 10 minutes. Just disappointed i didn't buy one years ago!

The Best.
We love this product for our customers! All of our small to medium businesses (5-100 employees) have at least one of these in their network/server closet. They are really easy to set up and work flawlessly. Plus they have a great batterie capacity to give the server and other equipment plenty of time to shut down safely without damage.

Technically good but not the best physical design
Good upgrade to my Back-UPS CS 500 that's still going strong after a battery upgrade. The thing I dislike about the Back-UPS Pro 1500 is how easily it topples over. APC would have been better retaining the classic dimensions, i.e., half the height and twice the width. Other than that, the power saving feature is a welcome bonus I didn't know I wanted/needed.
