Solved a big issue with monitor!
Our cable company had a power surge and something happened to the connection between our laptop and large monitor. A technician at Staples (Tyler) was able to diagnose the problem and order a different connector for us, which solved the problem and is now working GREAT. For the little $$$$ we spent, it resolved a major issue.

StarTech HDMIDVIMM6 6' HDMI to DVI-D Adapter Converter Cable
I've been using 2 monitors for a long time with the desktops I've had, but the last PC i purchased is a laptop which has VGA and DVI-D connectors but no HDMI as my second monitor has. The Star Tech converter cable is an inexpensive resolution to that problem and it works well.
