A good addition
I bought this replacing an existing battery pack that was damaged during hurricane Helene. I have always used APC products, and I always will. This battery pack adds almost 60 minutes of backup time to my audio cabinet equipment. I highly recommend buying this along with your Back-UPS Pro 1500.

External Battery Pack works great!
This works fantastic paired with the BR1500G unit. Provides plenty of extra juice over just the base 1500 UPS. Easy to connect to the port on the back. Additional Battery Packs are always a plus!

4 times the Runtime!
This wonderful accessory (for the Back-UPS Pro models) can extend the runtime of the normal UPS up to a minimum of 47 minutes! However, with light loads, the increase can be *many hours* of runtime. A large increase in assurance for not that much more money!

Get this if you need more time
Bought this along with a BR1500G. Now my modem and wi-fi can run for 10.5 hours during an outage.

love it!
I love this unit, keeps my server on for about 40 minutes and if everything is on it will last about 10 minutes. I had the APC J15BLK APC J15BLK 12-Outlet J-Type Power Conditioner with Battery Backup (Discontinued by Manufacturer)before this unit and the BR1300 is fraction of the price. Good for SOHO
I purchased it to extend the working time of my APC Pro Backup-UPS.It was easy to connect and works like expected.I ordered it two weeks befor Christmas and it should arrive on Dec 31. butI got it less then a week after ordering. Thanks to Staples.Pro: It tripled the time until shutdown. Cons: noting for now

Great Add-On
Makes a great product even greater. If you've already purchased the UPS, and need to add capacity, the External Battery Pack is a good solution. You keep the value of your earlier purchase, while getting the capacity increase you needed.
