Best small UPS we have had
We have gone through many smaller UPS's by the big brands and this one is the best by far.

ONLY 3 BARS
THE UNIT WOULD NOT FULLY RECHARGE. IT ONLY TOOK THREE WEEKS TO GET TRIPPLITE TO REPLACE UNT. I SELECTED I TO GET 1000 VA. 3 BARS MEANS NO MORE THAN 600 VA. TOO EXPENSIVE FOR THAT.[...]

excellent features for price
I am trying this as an AV UPS. The price of purpose built units is ridiculous. I have tested this several ways and numerous times. There is a mild buzz through the amp, but not the violent chainsaw noise some units create. I have had great success with Tripp-Lite, and poor result with the APC units of many descriptions I've used over the years.

Saved my Butt!
I had 100 volts coming in from my tv cable.Bad ground mybe.no damage to my lcd tv, vcr or dvd recorder.thanks tripp lite!battery life is ok.well worth what i paid,saved me 20 times it's price already!I will buy another one to upgrade my computer ups when I see my price!Get some protection it smart.

Decent UPS for under $100.
People have reported battery issues with the units. We purchased 6 of them to replace dead Belkin units and they all worked fine. I guess your mileage may very, but we had good results. Great unit for the money. Would be nice to have true sine wave voltage regulation, but that will never likely happen at this price point.

Very nice LCD, shows you your power input Variations. Easy Set up, Rack mountable with rotating LCD.
