AVOID AT ALL COST!
We purchased this doorbell camera and three ecobee thermostats because you were supposed to be able to view the doorbell camera from the thermostats and we figured it was a nice safety feature for our children in our multifloor home… It does not work. Good door cam and features
I love how the camera can be hardwired to low voltage power as well as it's ability to display who is at the door on all of my ecobee thermostat. My only gripe is that you have to pay for a subscription just to view a video clip of who is at your door, which seems ridiculous. Subscription for useful features?
Love your thermostat! But it appears you are still requiring a subscription for the useful features of the doorbell. I’d love to buy a doorbell, but it’s just not intelligent to pay for a subscription. I’d be willing to pay the subscription if you give the doorbell away.

Apple subscription for Ecobee is Disadvantagious
When I created my account, I set it up through Apple Pay.
This has made it impossible for Ecobee to activate my one year free subscription that comes with every purchase.
Wish they had informed me when I set it up.

Best Thermostat
I’ve had this product installed for over 3 months now, and I have found it to be the best on the market. I had Nest before, and was pleased, but then they sold out to Google and I slowly became completely disillusioned as they dropped their customer service. After investigating for replacements, I decided on Ecobee.

Very happy
The doorbell has been installed for about 1 month. I love it. The camera quality is excellent. I also purchased the premium Ecobee Thermostat. I am very happy with that as well.

I love it!
Easy to install. My boyfriend said it took him 18 minutes to set up. I love that I can access it from the app where I already have my thermostat connected. I'm so glad to finally be done with my "dumb" doorbell. I love the security add-on as well, I already feel at ease knowing I can get alerts for when I'm away.

Nice looking, well built, works great!
I installed this doorbell camera several weeks ago. It was very easy when following the online instructions. They say it takes 45 minutes, but being slow and careful it took me about 70 minutes. It is working great!

Solid doorbell camera, missing a few features
A lot of functionality in a small, easy to install package (assuming that you already have a wired doorbell). Homekit support is a bit weak though: no HomeKit Secure video and no video history (unlike all the other HomeKit cameras I have). Hopefully there will be a new generation which fills these gaps!

Ecobee has helped me feel safe at home

Sucks, buy something else, or wait for v2 premium
The ecobee door bell has complaints about connectivity and the speed at which video becomes available when opening the app. I passed that off as people having poor setups. Not great
Slow. Someone rings doorbell but is gone before it connects.

Amazing coverage
Im so in love with this doorbell camera. I love how I can adjust the areas to cover and how bright it is! Connecting it was super easy and also once you download the app you can just follow the easy instructions! It’s done in no time!

Great Doorbell Camera's with Premium Thermostat
Got new HVAC system, came with Premium Thermostat, got two Doorbells, both are connected to in-door chime, using individual adapters, one wired to ding, one wired to ding-dong.
