Excellent quality, reliable.

Low end, not recommended
Fan runs all the time, unlike other brand's fan which only runs when on battery. With minimal load one day it turned itself off. No power failure because 2 other brand UPSs stayed on and no blinking clock on microwave. That's a fatal flaw!

Backup power for my server
I run an unRAID server at home, where I get constant power outages as well as very dirty power. This lets it run for up to 50 min after the outage. Awesome! I love it.

Reliable, Economical, and Easy to Maintain
I recently purchased the Tripp Lite SMART1500LCD, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. In fact, I was so impressed that I bought a second unit for my environment. Coming from a different manufacture for UPS systems, I found this model to be a more economical alternative without sacrificing performance or reliability.

Easy to deploy for network uptime!
The UPS was easy to use didn't have to wait for battery to charge. The instructions were easy to read instructions to mount the rack ears were easy as well. The LCD screen is laid out nice is very legible and with the simplicity of just the two buttons you can't go wrong. Reliable backup and good surge protection!
Provides clean and stable power. Enough battery to allow for a smooth shutdown . Good surge protection for the outputs as well.

Coming up on 2 years and it's working fine so far
Really like this unit. Little hard to clean the fan area fully from dust. The biggest downside is that it spawns SO MANY processes in Windows. I really like that it has as many battery protected ports as it has.

Only recommend this product to my customers.
I use this to protect Wi-Fi networks at Hotels and RV parks. I will also install them for phone systems and camera systems. In addition to the MDF and IDF equipment protection, I also installed them on my customers front desk or office network. Since we started using these, our equipment, failure rate has gone down despite all the lightning storms we have in East Texas.

Worked immediately and easy to install
I have this mounted in a rack with a Gateway, 16 port POE switch, and small NAS attached. So far it has worked flawlessly, running without any hiccups. I haven't had a full power outage yet, so still need to test all it's functionality but in the limited testing I have already done it works great. Great product, one word of caution.
I bought this for my home theater. Everything about the product is great except the fan is incredibly loud. Far too loud to keep it in the room even with a movie or music playing. I work in the Pro AV industry and I've never heard a fan this loud even on our touring amplifiers. I took the unit apart to investigate replacing it with a quieter one and that's when I realiz...

As long as it performs as expected, I will purchase again.
I needed a rackmount unit for a mission critical application. It was easy to attach the rack ears and powered up as expected. The LCD display includes information about run time, which will enable me to track the battery's usefulness over time.

Good UPS for what it is used for.
The SMART1500LCD UPS was bought to go into a small IDF cabinet with only a 48-port PoE switch attached to it. Works great for what we need it for, and I like the scrolling LCD screen that provides a quick view of the load, runtime, in/out voltage, etc...

good product
It has a protocol that if there is low voltage, for safety reasons it turns off and does not let you turn it on until you remove the alert. Super good. I recommend it 100%.

Great UPS for Network Racks
I bought this rack specifically because it fits on my "shallow" 2-post network rack, whereas many other units are too deep.
It seems like a fantastic price for the 1500VA/900W provided, especially compared to other rack-mountable units.

excellent productt
this is exactly what I needed and was expecting. simple setup i used it as a rackmount but the option to go vertical is nice as well. Definitely would recommend it.
