FINALLY
I finally got my hands on the smarttag2! I was hunting for these as they sorta disappeared and people were charging double on amazon. I ordered at 130am on launch day to get it in time for our trip! Don't bother - Smart Tags 2 do not work.
They do not work!! They only track if your phone is nearby. Software is also buggy as Location history always show a network error.

Accurate and easy to use
Set up for these was extremely easy. It literally took about 1 minute to set each one up. So far, these have been such a time saver. Seriously cut down on the amount of time I spend hunting for my keys, and my daughter's wristlet. I've used these for items misplaced in the house as well as one left behind at a store. The locate feature has been accurate each time.

Does Not Work For A Lot of Users Including Me

bags found in new york.
so amazing, My Son's was going to Morocco and was having resistance from a airports worker that caused Him to miss His flight. He arrived in Morocco, but I found His bags in new york using Samsung tracker tags.bags

Maka a little noise.
At one point in smart things app the tag would make noise to locate it, I want that option back.

Tags and their sound quality
We bought these tags months ago and we have one on our blind elderly dog who loves to wander in inclement weather, and my husbands wallet which he is notorious for losing. Not GPS
Useless without GPS capabilities. What a disappointment. No tracking beyond a very, very short distance from Samsung app. Read reviews before buying.
