Useless
Absolutely worthless unless the tracker is sitting right next to your phone. Especially in a rural area. I wanted this for keeping track of my dog, who likes to wander. This tracker does nothing. Zip, nada zilch, unless she is sitting right next to me.

I have a whole bunch of stuff I forget all the time. These save me so much time looking for it all. I just wish they had thin ones that go into a wallet and other colors aside from black and white.

Outstanding Peace of Mind
This is outstanding tag that gives peace of mind for dog lovers. My head strong mini- schnauzer loves to run out whenever she gets an opportunity. This tag constantly tracks her and I go and fetch her without any difficulty. It's a life saver!

Smarttag2 are Effective
The Smarttag2's work great for tracking my dog if he wonders off the yard), car (when at mechanic's shop and his test drives it), my Samsung robot vacuum (it gets stuck under the couch or in a closet and I need to find it), and keys of course.

Galaxy smarttag2
Small and can operate other functions when programmed with other appliances like my S90C QD-OLED , they work VERY well minus One ISSUE the AR feature doesn't work on my Samsung galaxy S25 Ultra which is a downer. Other than that cant ask for anything more if ine is invested in the ecosystem.

Using camera to find doesnt work s25 ultra

The SmartTag+ now features AR finding for precise location tracking, available on select Galaxy models with Android 11 or higher. This improves locating items through visual and audio cues. After connecting the SmartTag+ to the SmartThings app on your phone or tablet, open the app, go to the Life tab, and select the SmartThings Find card. Ensure you've chosen your SmartTag+, then tap Search nearby. After a few seconds, tap Find using camera — note this option may not appear if the signal is weak, and you might need to grant permissions first. Point your device around your area; if the signal is strong enough, arrows may appear guiding you toward the SmartTag+. Tap the music icon to make the SmartTag+ ring, helping you locate it more easily. When you're close to the SmartTag+ and the item, a popup will notify you that it's nearby.
