Outstanding Peace of Mind
This is outstanding tag that gives peace of mind for dog lovers. My head strong mini- schnauzer loves to run out whenever she gets an opportunity. This tag constantly tracks her and I go and fetch her without any difficulty. It's a life saver!

Useless
Absolutely worthless unless the tracker is sitting right next to your phone. Especially in a rural area. I wanted this for keeping track of my dog, who likes to wander. This tracker does nothing. Zip, nada zilch, unless she is sitting right next to me.

Relies heavily on other users
Nice little device, but doesn't work very well.
I bought it to help keep my elderly father a bit safer when out walking, but as it relies very heavily on other people, it's absolutely useless to keep track of him in our sprawling housing estate where apparently only one in every three streets has a Smart Things device enabled. Smarttag2 are Effective
The Smarttag2's work great for tracking my dog if he wonders off the yard), car (when at mechanic's shop and his test drives it), my Samsung robot vacuum (it gets stuck under the couch or in a closet and I need to find it), and keys of course.

Samsung takes the competitive edge
The Samsung smart tag along with SmartThings is a game changer for geotags. I would suggest giving it a try. The Price is Right and the ease of use and accuracy of the location is unsurpressed.

Why couldn't I have been able to buy four black smart tags, two instead of having to buy two black and white packs? Buying four individual black smart tags would've cost more.

Galaxy smarttag2
Small and can operate other functions when programmed with other appliances like my S90C QD-OLED , they work VERY well minus One ISSUE the AR feature doesn't work on my Samsung galaxy S25 Ultra which is a downer. Other than that cant ask for anything more if ine is invested in the ecosystem.

Galaxy SmartTag2: Great Hardware Upgrades, But Sof
This was my first foray into Samsung’s next generation of trackers, and overall, I’m impressed. Using camera to find doesnt work s25 ultra
S25 ultra AR find doesnt work, wont even give th option to open camera when trying to locate, can only use ring

The SmartTag+ now features AR finding for precise location tracking, available on select Galaxy models with Android 11 or higher. This improves locating items through visual and audio cues. After connecting the SmartTag+ to the SmartThings app on your phone or tablet, open the app, go to the Life tab, and select the SmartThings Find card. Ensure you've chosen your SmartTag+, then tap Search nearby. After a few seconds, tap Find using camera — note this option may not appear if the signal is weak, and you might need to grant permissions first. Point your device around your area; if the signal is strong enough, arrows may appear guiding you toward the SmartTag+. Tap the music icon to make the SmartTag+ ring, helping you locate it more easily. When you're close to the SmartTag+ and the item, a popup will notify you that it's nearby. I can not find a way to turn off a Smart tag when not in use! They work well but no instructions were included to turn it off!

Accurate and easy to use
Set up for these was extremely easy. It literally took about 1 minute to set each one up. So far, these have been such a time saver. Seriously cut down on the amount of time I spend hunting for my keys, and my daughter's wristlet. I've used these for items misplaced in the house as well as one left behind at a store. The locate feature has been accurate each time.
