Cannot get anything above 60hz at 1080p
I am flabberghasted as to why this cable doesn't let me get above 60hz at 1080p. I got another brand and It works.

Good quality cable!
Good quality cable 60Hz will work no problem at 1080p and 2k. In 4k I can get between 30-59Hz but sometimes (2-3x a year) I get a black screen I need to unplug and replug the cable. Compared to Primecable these Displayport cables from Startech are way better. I am a small reseller from Canada.

Probably just defective.

Startech - Please Clearly Label Your Cables
This cable works great for my set-up, ASUS motherboard Prime Z370-A connected to AOC monitor I2769Vm. It is higher spec than needed for HD to future proof it for 4K and it looks good build quality. I would happily buy again. What was disappointing the physical cable (I'm not talking about the sales packaging) had no displayport standards marked on it like "DPv1.2 HBR...

Worked OTB
Used these on 2 Dell 34" displays. 3440 x 1440 .
No problems.

Stopped working
Stopped working after about 6 months. Monitor says no signal when computer comes out of sleep. Unplugged, replugged, rebooted, turned off/on... nothing. Bought another brand and monitor started working again. Who would have thought a cable would stop working all of a sudden? It wasn't moved, pulled, or stretched in any way, just stopped working!
