Avoid.
It's faulty right out of the box. All it can do is squeal and render code F04, the solution for which is to replace the battery.

Saved my system!!!
Purchased the UPS in 2021.
Worked flawlessly, even through times of thunderstorms.
Recently Kentucky had severe thunderstorms. My UPS took the brunt. Purchased a new unit.

Replacing a Smart Pro 1500va 900w after 14 years of service
After 14 years and one battery replacement something in it gave out in my current SmartPro 1500 900w UPS and it kicks off after a few seconds but I cannot complain I gave me a good service In a rual area with an unstable power system that blew up a brand new $700 laser printer which prompted to buy this model UPS and replace it with the same model.

Definitely a good product at a good price
Nicely packaged. I like the way the brackets for the foot/rack attach. Very sturdy. The Power shutdown features are very nice as well.

Came Highly Recommended
After wasting a couple hundred dollars each on 2 high-end battery backups for our office that failed miserably, my IT company got us the same one they use and it's been great!

I use this UPS for my main computer and it seems to handle the load very well. The company's support is excellent also.

Solid product, works great
Work from home; using this as the UPS for my desktop and two monitors, while another UPS powers my router, modem and landline. Had it since 2017, changed the batteries twice, never a problem. With the computer and one monitor tied in, I can nurse the battery to 90-120 minutes when the power goes out -- 60 minutes with the desktop and both monitors.

Bad USB Port NOT recognized at all
Bought it because the omni 2200W ups I was using would simply shut off completely when the power went out rendering it into a very expensive line conditioner only. This works as as soon as it's plugged in and you "arm" it and it actually stays on when you unplug it without the need for any software or extra cables. I have purchased this product again and again.
Well, maybe not the exact model number, but the SMART1500 series. I've chosen Tripplite over your competitor as I can easily replace the batteries when they age out.

I have alway been happy with tripp lite equipment
I currently have 6 of these units and use them in my office to back up my photo hard storage and to protect my computer, scanner and printer equipment.
My only concern with the latest purchase of 5 units , all of them when I opened the boxes had the tell tale odor of overheated electronic components. My being an electronic tech thet odor gets your attention quit rapidl...

Great Product
