This is a reliable UPS, and the EcoControl outlets let those outlets act as controlled outlets, turning off plugged-in peripherals, as the main device is powered off.

Static Noise and High Fans
I had multiple APC UPS over the last 20 years, and I heard good things about Eaton, but this device, either they sold me a broken unit or it's just pure junk. After connecting my Synology NAS, modem, there is a High Static/Pitch noise and the Fans are spinning like crazy. If I would give it 0 stars, I would. I don't recommend this item.
